I chose a very simple apple for this botanical watercolor. Easy? Nope! Nowhere near easy! Of course I wanted it red but it's the white reflection that made me think about the magic of light and shadow when representing nature. I chose botanical watercolor, an ancient traditional art, to invite nature into our lives. Through the meticulous details I've captured in my paintings, I hope to inspire you to take the time to observe, a bit like a bucolic meditation.
